History Of First Aid

First Aid to most people is just the name on the outside of the red box in the bathroom at work, but it is really so much more than that. First aid is something that has history behind it, because it wasn’t always left to the people to administer first aid in the absence of a medical professional. Hearing first aid history is enough to make anybody want to jump into the medical profession--or not--but either way, first aid history is an important part of the history of the United States and the medical industry, and it is worth learning at least once.

There is more than one type of first aid that can bead ministered, and drowning first aid is one of these types. Drowning first aid is usually called CPR or cardio pulmonary resuscitation. It has to do with re starting the bodily processes for people who have been involved in drowning accidents and accidents where the heart and/or lungs may have stopped working.

Consider how much you know about the history of first aid, and take it from there to determine whether or not you need additional training and assistance in the area of first aid. Do you trust yourself to be able to stay calm and handle small accidents? Are you okay with having to bandage up an injury or administer CPR? In the history of first aid, people have been getting trained in the vital processes that it takes to keep people doing well and alive and kicking in the nick of time, and with the history of first aid being what it is it is important to understand the difference between bandaging up a cut and real administration of first aid tactics and first aid services.

Luckily for you, you don’t have to know the whole entire history of first aid to be able to help people but it helps to get formally trained in first aid, and formal first aid training at least includes a quick lesson in the history of first aid and where it all started. Are you free to forget it? Of course, but do you really want to?

The history of first aid is the history of you and your health, and why small injuries are such minimal injuries to you today.
